GILAS Pilipinas will have the homecourt edge when it guns for a berth in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in July after the Fiba last night named the Philippines one of three hosts for wild card events.
“Yes!” basketball godfather and Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president Manny V. Pangilinan said through his Twitter account @iamMVP, after the Fiba announcement.
