Cars, carts at stake in Mango Tee golf

Four cars and two golf carts worth about P5 million are up for grabs as hole-in-one prizes in the Mango Tee, the member-guest tournament of the Alabang Country Club presented by Petron and Smart slated Feb. 1 to 6.

Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubshi, Chevrolet and Toyota cars all on offer as rewards for aces on designated holes aside from Texas Eagle and Yamaha golf carts and other prizes assembled by the host club for the 32nd edition of the event. 

The event fired off Saturday with the traditional hitting of ceremonial balls by club officials led by its president Jude Aguilar, Mango Tee committee headed by Dennis Hernandez and heads and representatives of tournaments sponsors.

Focus will be on the chase for the low gross, low net and the division titles in four different handicap divisions of the tournament which has Hanes, Pacific Links, Pepsi, Life Oil, Turf Co., Glenlivet, Mizuno, Food Details, PacSports, Srixon and Stansbury as major sponsors.

Hole-in-one sponsors: Citimotors, Mecedes Benz/CATS Motors, Toyota, Chevrolet, Texas Eagle, Autohub and Yamaha/Kart Plaza.
