Pangasinan set to host Philippine National Games in March

LINGAYEN—The province of Pangasinan is hosting the 2016 Philippine National Games in March.

In a resolution passed on Monday, the Provincial Board has authorized Gov. Amado Espino Jr. to enter into a memorandum of agreement with the Philippine Sports Commission, represented by its commissioner in-charge, Jose Luis Gomez, to formalize the province’s hosting chores.

This year’s National Games would be held from March 7 to 11.

In 2012, Pangasinan played host to the Palarong Pambansa, and the OSKA Shikodan Philippines All Shorin-Ryu National Karate-do Tournament in 2013. RAM
