Perasol next UP coach? ‘Everything is just exploratory’
Is coach Bo Perasol on his way back to his alma mater?
Reports surfaced Thursday that the offensive-minded coach is on his way back to University of the Philippines where he is pegged to lead the men’s basketball team.

“I had been approached and we have had initial discussions, but everything is just exploratory so there is nothing else I can say or confirm,” the former Ateneo coach said.
The soft-spoken coach failed to steer the Blue Eagles to the Finals in his three years in Katipunan. In his last season, the Kiefer Ravena-led squad reached the Final Four before bowing out to eventual Season 78 champions Far Eastern University courtesy of a Mac Belo tip in at the buzzer.
Article continues after this advertisementThe Maroons, meanwhile, had a promising 2-0 start before stumbling to a 3-11 record under coach Rensy Bajar. He has a contract with UP until March this year.
