Phoenix is eyeing its entry to the PBA a conference to remember.
With a solid core and grand plans in mind, coach Koy Banal has tapped Kenny Adeleke as the team’s reinforcement for the 2016 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The 6-foot-9 Nigerian has been well travelled around the world since starting his pro career in 2006.
Adeleke, 32, has played in Israel, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy, China, Ukraine, Spain, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela. He last suited up for Atenienses de Manati in Puerto Rico.
Adeleke also had a stint with the Springfield Armor in the NBA D-League, where he averaged 5.1 points and 6.8 rebounds in 31 games back in 2013.
Banal sees his new recruit as a great fit for Phoenix, saying:
Phoenix begin its maiden season against NLEX on February 17.
