A night after Kevin Durant shot the lights out at Oracle Arena, the Oklahoma City Thunder was back shooting at the nearby Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara as a photographer under the bright lights of Super Bowl 50.

According to Eric Freeman of Yahoo Sports’ Ball Don’t Lie, “Durant was credentialed through the Players’ Tribune, for which he carries the title of Deputy Publisher.”

Before carrying a camera with him at the sidelines, Durant put the Thunder on his back in a sorry loss to the NBA-leading Golden State Warriors with 40 points, 15 rebounds five assists and two blocks.

At 6-foot-9 and a lengthy frame, Durant could very well be the tallest photographer working at the sidelines of the biggest sporting event in the US that saw the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers, 24-10.

But while Durant went to work, Warriors star Steph Curry, a Carolina Panthers’ fan, served as the team’s “Keep Pounding” drummer, a Panthers tradition where a special guest pounds a huge drum once every quarter.

Curry, the reigning NBA MVP, had 26 points, six rebounds, 10 assists and three steals in a 116-108 win over Durant’s Thunder.
