Jordan doesn’t mind crying meme, reports say
The barometer of basketball greatness sees nothing wrong with the barometer of Internet sadness.
As per TMZ, Michael Jordan’s representative said His Airness sees nothing wrong with the people of the Internet using his crying face as a meme, as long as they don’t use it to gain money.
Jordan’s representative said “everyone seems to be having fun with the meme,” and that makes him cool with that.
Known as the “MJ Crying Face,” the meme has been used to expressed utter sadness and Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers was the latest victim after they lost to the Denver Broncos at Super Bowl 50 earlier in the week.
Golden State’s MVP Stephen Curry also used the meme after his beloved Panthers lost.
“We haven’t seen anyone using it to promote their commercial interests, which is something that we’re monitoring,” Jordan’s representative said.
