LA SALLE’s Lady Spikers try to put their stunning loss to National University behind them when they battle the Adamson Lady Falcons today in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

“We lacked focus [in our last game],” said La Salle coach Ramil de Jesus, who rued his girls’ 31 errors. “When NU started to get their confidence, we had a hard time coming back because of too many unforced errors.”

The Lady Spikers—who slipped to 2-1 behind unbeaten Ateneo after their 16-25, 24-26, 25-14, 23-25 defeat to the Lady Bulldogs last Wednesday—hope to get back their fierce form in the 2 p.m. game.

In the second match, Far Eastern University goes for a second victory versus winless University of Santo Tomas at 4 p.m.

The Lady Spikers hope to maximize their height advantage over the Lady Falcons with star spiker Ara Galang playing alongside middle hitters Mika Reyes and Majoy Baron.

The Lady Falcons, toting a 1-1 record, try to match up with Jema Galanza, Mylene Paat, May Roque and Joy Dacoron.
