Guiao calls Johnson ban ‘karmic justice’

It’s the end of the Yeng Guiao-Ivan Johnson rivalry.

Rain or Shine’s fiery coach finally got his payback on Johnson Saturday at Philsports Arena even without doing anything.

During the TNT’s match vs Meralco, Johnson got ejected, threw profanities at Commissioner Chito Narvasa and subsequently got the boot from the league—all in an hour.

“I think it’s good riddance, he’s a world-class a**hole,” Guiao said after their 95-86 win over Star, the same day Johnson got banned.

Guiao and Johnson bumped into each other–literally–in the 2015 Commissioner’s Cup Finals for which the import was fined P150,000.

Never the one to sugarcoat his words, Guiao went on a tirade and called the ban a “karmic justice.”

“Tinotolerate nila commissioner kaya lumalaki ulo,” Guiao said. “I guess this is karmic justice. We don’t need guys like him in the Philippines.”

He said Johnson only picks on guys smaller than him.

“He doesn’t pick on the imports, gustong awayin mga Pinoy kasi maliliit Pilipino, di siya nakikipag away sa import.”
