A couple of blocks trampled the Lady Bulldogs’ comeback hopes as the Golden Tigresses notched their second straight win and improve to 2-3 in the standings.

National University had an 11-6 early in the set but it was UST’s period to win with Chloe Cortez tying it at 12-12 and Jorelle Singh fumbling to give UST a 13-12 lead.

Jaja Santiago lead the 3-2 Lady Bulldogs with 23 points while Myla Pablo added 20.
