BIÑAN, Laguna—RC Cola-Army displayed the type of game that separates the women from the girls, destroying neophyte squad New San Jose Builders, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15, Tuesday night to remain unbeaten in the Philippine Superliga Invitational Cup at Alonte Sports Arena here.

The Lady Troopers, starring gunners Rachel Daquis and Jovelyn Gonzaga, didn’t flinch against the young Victorias with Gonzaga pacing the victors with 14 points.

The win was the third straight for RC Cola.

“We played consistently,” said Gonzaga, adding they prepared against the Victorias the same way they prepared against other teams. “We never take anybody lightly.”

Daquis finished with 12 points on top of seven excellent digs, while Honey Royse Tubino accounted for 11 points.

Later, F2 Logistics held off Foton, 25-23, 25-22, 25-19, to post its second win in three games. Foton dropped to  1-2 going to the next round.

Team captain Cha Cruz finished with 14 points, including 10 spikes, for the Cargo Movers.
