WWE Network now available in PH

Catering to its global audience, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has expanded its network to Southeast Asia and will now offer the WWE Network to the Philippines and Thailand starting March 1.

Costing $9.99 per month, new subscribers will receive their first month of service free as the promotion’s biggest event, WrestleMania 32, nears.

“WWE is committed to the global growth of our brand,” said WWE Chief Strategy and Financial Officer George Barrios in a statement. “We are thrilled to offer WWE Network to our fans in Thailand and the Philippines in time for our biggest event of the year, WrestleMania.”

Subscribers will enjoy an extensive video-on-demand library in the Network, on top of the weekly regular shows Raw and SmackDown, NXT, the 12 pay-per-view events, and network specials. Previous WCW and ECW events are also available in the Network.

It is currently available on desktop, laptop, and mobile devices, as well as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Sony PlayStation 3, Sony Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Roku and Smart TVs in time for WrestleMania 32.

WrestleMania 32, slated on April 3 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, will be headlined by the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against defending titlist Triple H and rival Roman Reigns. Other matches slated for “the show of shows” include a Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Shane McMahon, and a No Holds Barred Street Fight between Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose.
