Cafe France shoots for the No. 1 seeding Thursday when it battles a resurgent Phoenix-Far Eastern U even as University of the Philippines-QRS-Jam Liner guns for a quarterfinal bonus in the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup at Ynares Sports Arena.

The Bakers (6-1) will clinch the No. 1 seed with a victory over the Accelerators in their 4 p.m. clash.

The Maroons (4-3) face dangerous AMA at 2 p.m. A win by the Maroons will tie them with the Tanduay, but UP will take the No. 4 seed after beating the Rhum Masters, 102-86, last Jan. 26.

AMA, (2-6) is aiming for as high as the sixth seed in the next round.

The Accelerators beat Tanduay Monday for their fifth win in six games. The win also gave Phoenix at least a twice-to-beat bonus in the quarterfinals.
