Rousey: I don’t want anyone else to beat Holm but me
Ronda Rousey can be a little selfish.
In the build-up going to UFC 196, the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion wants her conqueror Holly Holm to come away victorious against long-time rival Miesha Tate—for personal reasons.
Article continues after this advertisement“I don’t want anyone else to take the honor of beating her besides myself,” Rousey told TMZ.
It’s justifiable for Rousey (12-1) to want to hand Holm’s (10-0) first loss since the latter took away the former’s title and snapped her 12-fight win streak.
They were set for a rematch this year but Rousey asked for more time to recover.
