Weidman-Rockhold, Cruz-Faber title fights set for UFC 199

LAS VEGAS — Luke Rockhold will defend his middleweight title in a rematch with Chris Weidman, and Dominick Cruz will defend his bantamweight title in his third bout with Urijah Faber at UFC 199 on June 4.

UFC President Dana White announced the stacked lineup Friday for the show from the Forum in Inglewood, California.

Rockhold (15-2) claimed the 185-pound title from Weidman (13-1) in December, stopping the champion in the fourth round at UFC 194. With contender Yoel Romero sidelined by a failed drug test, Weidman will get an immediate rematch.

Cruz (21-1) took the 135-pound title in January with a split-decision win over T.J. Dillashaw. Cruz lost to longtime title challenger Faber (33-8) in 2007, but beat Faber in their rematch in 2011.
