National University made quick work of Adamson, 25- 18, 25-12, 25-18, to end a three-game slump Sunday in the UAAP Season 78 women’s volleyball tournament at Arena in San Juan.

The Lady Bulldogs took advantage of the hapless Lady Falcons, attacking them from all angles as they opened the second round on a positive note.

The team, which head coach Roger Gorayeb said was “self destructing” after the disastrous stretch, improved to 4-4.

Myla Pablo and Jaja Santiago had an all-around game and combined for 33 points for NU, which had a whopping 34-23 edge in kills in the lopsided affair.

The Lady Falcons, for their part, couldn’t overcome an error-prone showing which saw them give away 28 points from miscues.

No one from the Adamson side, which had its two-game roll snapped, finished in double digits with Mylene Paat leading the way with nine markers.
