Journeyman Joseph Yeo has not played for the past two games for Globalport and the 10-year veteran is now searching for answers.

Yeo was slated into the Batang Pier roster as the veteran swingman to guide young stars Terrence Romeo and Stanley Pringle, but this early into the Commissioner’s Cup the 32-year-old has seen his fair share of “did not plays.”

“Wala namang sinasabi yung coaches sa akin,” Yeo said. “Parang curious ako kasi bakit di nila ako ginagamit.”

“Sabi sa akin ni coach Pido [Jarencio] diskarte lang daw niya yun at kung kailan ako palalaruin. Ako, okay lang naman, diskarte niya yun so nirerespeto ko din yung desisyon niya.”

Yeo’s absence has paved the way for Jonathan Uyloan and Paolo Taha to prosper with the duo scoring 15 and 12 points, respectively, Sunday.

Still, Yeo is wondering why he wasn’t been in the rotation for the past two games especially after team owner Mikee Romero posted cryptic messages on his Facebook wall about a “veteran guard.”

Romero has since then deleted the post.

“Alam niyo namang sanay ako ma trade di ba, until hindi pa, wala pa rin at nagpapractice pa rin ako,” Yeo said. “Professional ako sa team ko di ba, parang positive lang ako di ba. Kung yung iba pinapalaro so sinusuportahan ko pa rin sila.”
