Bradley taking ‘way different’ approach vs Pacquiao in 3rd bout

Timothy Bradley has learned his lessons from their first two meetings so he’s taking a “way different” approach against Manny Pacquiao on April 9.
The American boxer said his camp has formulated a detailed game plan to put away Pacquiao once and for all when they meet for the third, and what could be the last, time at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
“Our approach this time (against Pacquiao) is going to be way different,” Bradley said during a conference call on, as posted on BoxingScene.com. “We have a big game plan going into this fight and I am looking closely at Pacquiao and his weaknesses.
Their first fight in 2012 ended in a highly controversial split decision in favor of Bradley and the second one in 2014 went to Pacquiao’s way via unanimous decision.
“I can take a lot from the first two fights. I didn’t really have a game plan for the first fight, pretty much fighting on my peer skills and my experience, and I did pretty well in that one.”
Bradley admits that the Filipino boxing champion convincingly won their rematch, but believes he is coming in more prepared two years after.
“The second fight, Pacquiao definitely won that hands down but I suffered an injury in the second round. The fact that now I will have a big game plan … I think that I have a much better chance.”
Bradley has been taken under the wing of renowned trainer Teddy Atlas, from whom “Desert Storm” thinks he learned to take his concentration to a whole new level.
“What I mean by that is that no matter what’s going on, no matter how bad a day you’re having, you always have to be focused, you always have to be committed
“That is enforced every single day (with Atlas). I show up to the gym and it’s total concentration, total focus all the way through,” said Bradley.
