McGregor-Diaz rematch potential UFC 200 headliner

Conor McGregor can get another crack at the man who handed him his first UFC loss as a rematch against Nate Diaz is reportedly on its way.

As per MMA Fighting, the two will once again face each other in the welterweight division this time as the main event for UFC 200.

Diaz gave McGregor his first UFC setback, locking the UFC featherweight champion in a rear naked choke in the second round earlier in the month.

McGregor was originally set to face Rafael dos Anjos for the UFC lightweight title but the Brazilian withdrew due to a foot injury and Diaz had to fill-in with merely 11 days notice.

Diaz improved to 19-10 overall in his MMA career while McGregor was at 19-3.
