National University will likely have to make do with a shorthanded lineup for some time after one of its defensive specialists fell down with an injury Saturday at PhilSports Arena.

Bia General sprained her right elbow late in the fourth set of their five-set loss to Far Eastern University.

She said she would have her elbow checked on Sunday to determine the extent of her injury and see how long she will remain idle.

NU is currently in a difficult spot with a 5-6 record good for a fifth-place tie with University of Santo Tomas after losing to Far Eastern University in five sets.
