Cherry Rondina has been grabbing the attention of the volleyball public with her exciting and relentless style for University of Santo Tomas.

And she’s earned one highly-respectable fan in Alyssa Valdez.

Ateneo’s two-time MVP said Rondina is the future of the UAAP and it would be a sin not to follow the upward trajectory of the sophomore Golden Tigress.

“Si Rondina, kahit anong mangyari si Rondina na siya, it’s just another day in the office for her,” said Valdez, who got the better of Rondina’s UST Saturday at Philsports Arena.

“Kailangan nating abangan si Rondina, as in kailangang kailangang nating siyang abangan.”

In their final match of the eliminations, Rondina and Valdez did not disappoint in their match-up as the Thomasian had 11 points and the two-time MVP had 14.
