Foton, Jumbo clash, seek 3rd win
Foton tries to sustain its impressive start in the PCBL Chairman’s Cup against Jumbo Plastic today even as Byaheng SCTEX seeks back to back victories at Marikina Sports Center.
Picking up two victories in their first three games, the Toplander have turned out to be the surprise package in the tournament currently paced by Mighty Sports with a 4-0 slate.
But Foton will be facing a Jumbo Plastic squad that’s aching to finally get going after a rough start.

The Linoleum Giants hold an even 2-2 record, counting victories over Euro-Med and Supremo Lex.
Byaheng SCTEX was among Foton’s early victims in a game where Mikee Reyes nailed a triple at the buzzer to clinch the double overtime victory.
Jumbo Plastic, however, is loaded with gunners, most notably Jeff Viernes, who bagged the Founders Cup Finals Most Valuable Player award.
