Adamson University is officially out of the Final Four picture of the UAAP Season 78 women’s volleyball tournament, but it’s not an excuse the Lady Falcons can use not to play hard.

Lady Falcons team captain Mylene Paat said they will still fight and give it their all with the Adamson community still looking up to them despite their lowly 3-9 record.

“Laban lang, wag na intindihin standings, basta makita kami ng Adamson community na lumalaban kami,” Paat said after their three-set loss to Ateneo Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

“Play for pride na talaga.”

Adamson sits at seventh seed and its remaining two games against Far Eastern University and University of the East will be a test of pride for the Lady Falcons.

Paat said they are disappointed of bowing out of the Final Four again but it’s something they have to accept.

“Disappointed po, di naman maiiwasan kasi out na naman kami, disappointed talaga and kailangan naming tanggapin,” Paat said. “Mino-motivate ko na lang sarili ko, ilalaban ko na lang po para sa community.”
