HOLLYWOOD—Mexican ring icon Juan Manuel Marquez says Timothy Bradley must do some adjustments with his fighting stance if he wishes to exact vengeance on Manny Pacquiao on April 9 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Bradley must constantly move and be faster with his hands.

Marquez offered these tips to Bradley, who beat him by split decision in their lone clash in 2012.

“He will need to adjust … the speed of his hands, and his feet must move in the ring. He cannot allow himself to be a fixed target for Pacquiao, a fighter with speed and who punches very hard,” Marquez told ESPN Deportes.

Marquez, a seven-time world champion, should know.

He engaged Pacquiao in four closely fought bouts, posting a stunning one-punch knockout of his arch rival in the sixth round of their last showdown in 2012. Pacquiao beat the Mexican twice with their first fight ending in a draw.

According to Marquez, Bradley must “move in the ring and stay in his comfort zone and in the combat zone.”

The five-division world champion also said Bradley must prevent Pacquiao from dictating the pace by using side-to-side movement.

As in the first two editions of Pacquiao-Bradley, Marquez is picking Pacquiao to win.
