Floyd Mayweather Sr., is all too familiar with Manny Pacquiao not only as a spectator, but also as a trainer on the opposite corner.

There’s been a couple of instances where the elder Mayweather had seen Pacquiao fight up close. The first was when the Filipino legend destroyed Ricky Hatton and the second was when his son Floyd Jr. took a unanimous decision victory in boxing’s most lucrative fight last May.

It’s safe to say Mayweather knows a thing or two about Pacquiao and when he says Timothy Bradley will own the Pacman on Sunday (Manila time), he could be on to something.

As per BoxingScene.com, Mayweather thinks if Bradley fights the way he did when he stopped Brandon Rios last November, he will likely get the same result against Pacquiao.

“Overall, I think that if Bradley does what he did the other day versus [Rios], if Bradley fights that way right there, Pacquiao doesn’t have a chance,” said the 63-year-old Mayweather.

He added it was similar to his son’s weave-and-hit style of fighting that got them the victory over Pacquiao.

“That’s what my son did,” Mayweather said. “He hit him when he wanted to and then went and moved.”

“Move and hit him. That is it and Bradley can do the same thing.”
