Highlands Cup golf tilt stakes US trip, Asian cruise for hole-in-one

MANILA, Philippines – A business elite class Transpacific round trip ticket to US, Canada or any Asian destination will be up for grabs as hole-in-one prize in the Highlands Ladies Cup which gets going October 23 at Tagaytay Midlands.

The trip is staked at No. 12 while Royal Caribbean and Club Car are putting up a four-day Asian cruise prize for two and a golf cart for aces on Nos. 5 and 17, respectively. If nobody scores an ace, the Asian cruise prize will be raffled off among the participants.

Two business class round trip tickets to India, courtesy of Philippine Airlines, a round trip ticket to Singapore from Air Philippines and a round trip ticket to any local destination, also courtesy of Air Philippines, will be raffled off during awards rites.

Felix Ang, president of CATS Motors, Willie Ocier, vice president of Belle Corp., Jorge Mendiola, SM Retail president, Marixi Prieto, Inquirer chair, and Sandy Romualdez, Inquirer president and team captain of Tagaytay Highlands ladies team, will hit the ceremonial drives to kick off the sixth staging of the event also held to raise funds for the Sisters of Mary and Pearl Buck Foundation.

Backing the event as gold sponsors are Shell Philippines and Baron Travel.

The event will be fired off by a shotgun start and played under the System 36 scoring format.
