Tayao shifts to Formula 3 in US
GABE Tayao, bent on improving his performance, recently signed up for the initial stage of the Simraceway Formula 3 driver development program at the famed Sonoma Raceway in California.
The multititled 16-year-old has moved up to Formula racing after capping his five-year karting career with honors like the 2015 International Karter of the Year and Karter of the Year awards.
Stage 1 of the racing school’s driver development program includes operations of the Lola Simraceway Formula 3 car, acceleration, threshold braking and downshifting exercises.

Tayao will resume his Simraceway Performance Driving Center with Stages 2 and 3 to learn more about Formula racing.
