LAS VEGAS—Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao has left for Los Angeles after his successful return to the ring against Timothy Bradley Saturday night.
Pacquiao departed from Delano, where he stayed since arriving in this neon-lit gambling haven last Monday, at around 4 p.m. Sunday (Monday Manila time) aboard an RV along with his family.
Marking the first day of his retirement, Pacquiao attended a Bible study session at Mandalay Bay’s Michael Jackson ONE Theater, where hundred others were in attendance.
But there was no sign of boxer Timothy Bradley, whom Pacquiao had invited to join minutes after beating him for the second time at MGM Grand the night before.
Pacquiao then headed up to his suite at the 60th floor, where he had lunch with his family and entertained Manila-based journalists looking for an interview.
The ring icon is scheduled to fly back to Manila from LA on the 12th as he returns to his campaign for a seat in Senate in the May 9 elections.
