Mayweather scores Pacquiao-Bradley 3 a draw
The verdict was a lopsided victory by Manny Pacquiao over Timothy Bradley in the two welterweights’ third meeting on Sunday (Manila time) at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
But for Floyd Mayweather Jr., the fight was much closer than that.
As far as he’s concerned, it was deadeven.
In a report on ESPN, the former pound-for-pound king thinks the bout should’ve been a draw and that the pro-Pacquiao crowd influenced how the fight was scored.
“Go home and watch the replay with the sound off,” Mayweather told Bradley in a visit after the match, as per ESPN.
Mayweather also said the first Bradley knockdown in the seventh round turned the tide in favor of the Filipino ring icon as he had the American boxer leading the scorecards at that point.
All three judges scored the bout, 116-110, in for Pacquiao in his farewell fight.
