Layoso tops 27th TBAM-Boysen Easter Open

National player Benshir Layoso of MTBA-NLEX topped the recent 27th Tenpin Bowling Association of Makati (TBAM)-Boysen Easter Mixed Open Masters held at Superbowl Lanes, Makati Cinema Square, in Makati City. 
 
Layoso scored a total of 3160 pinfalls in 14 games for an average of 226 to win one of the most competitive and most sought-after championships in the local tenpin bowling circuit. 
 
Kevin Cu of PBAP-Bowlmart came in second with 3119, followed by TBAM-Prima stalwart Kenneth Chua in third with 3107.  Nicco Olaivar of PBA and Ivan Malig of TBAM-Prima tied for 4th and 5th place with 3090 each. 
 
Another TBAM-Prima mainstay, Krizziah Tabora, last year’s masters champion, finished 6th to lead all female bowlers in the category. — Glen John Labasug
