Victorious Pacquiao back in Manila

Fresh from defeating American Timothy Bradley in Las Vegas, Nevada, Filipino champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is back in the Philippines.

Pacquiao and his family arrived at Naia Terminal 1 at 5:08 a.m. on board PR 103 from Los Angeles.

Pacquiao earlier announced that this will be his retirement match from boxing.

According to Solar Sports’ Facebook page, fans will get to have a glimpse of Pacquiao in his homecoming with a motorcade scheduled to take him from Dusit Hotel in Makati all the way to Novotel in Quezon City starting at 8:30 a.m.

The 37-year-old Pacquiao returned to the Philippines to resume his campaign for a seat in the Senate in the upcoming national elections next month.

Boxing’s only eight-division champion is in his first few days of his retirement and for now, he has closed the door on a possible comeback.
