A WIDE-OPEN chase for the title is expected when the second and last stop of the Asian Development Tour in the country, the $60,000 Sherwood Hills Classic, tees off this Wednesday in Trece Martires, Cavite.

With last week’s champion Gavin Green of Malaysia and Filipino ace Miguel Tabuena skipping this event to see action in Japan, it will be anybody’s game as the talented field tries to conquer a much tougher layout this time.

Forty-nine players finished under par at Manila Southwoods’ Legends layout that played to a par-71, with Green tallying a 16-under 268.

But Sherwood Hills, relatively unknown to the majority of the foreigners, will be a much tougher nut to crack.
