OAKLAND, United States — A scan of Stephen Curry’s injured right ankle on Tuesday did not reveal “anything of concern,” the Golden State Warriors said.

Curry, who missed the Warriors’ victory over Houston in Game Two on Monday, is listed as questionable for Thursday’s Game Three against the Rockets.

“The MRI did not reveal anything of concern and Curry is expected to continue treatment in preparation for Thursday’s Game 3 in Houston. He is listed as questionable,” a Warriors statement said.

Coach Steve Kerr said he would have no qualms about resting Curry again if there was any hint his fitness was in doubt.

“If he’s not right, then he’s not going to play. It’s not worth risking turning this into a long-term issue.

“We’ll see how he responds the next couple of days, and if he’s not right, obviously being up 2-0 does give us more cushion if we decide to sit him. But it will be based on his health, not the series score.”
