Mighty Sports scores, clinches top seeding

WITH Kiefer Ravena and Bright Akhuetie holding fort, Mighty Sports beat Sta. Lucia Realty, 92-85, Sunday to nail the No. 1 seed heading into the playoffs of the PCBL Chairman’s Cup at Malolos Sports and Convention Center.

Ravena, the former UAAP Most Valuable Player out of Ateneo, scored 20 points while Akhuetie, Perpetual Help’s star center,  contributed 20 rebounds and 17 points for  Mighty  Sports which roared  to a 9-win, 1-loss card.

Byaheng SCTEX drubbed Foton Toplander, 91-60, in the other game to gain a tie for second spot with a 6-4 card.  Cedelf P. Tupas
