Diamond race: Mangosong challenges bike icon Aguilar
FORMER eight-time Rider of the Year Glenn Aguilar tries to keep his winning record intact as the third leg of the 2016 Diamond Motocross Series unwraps May 7 at MX Messiah Fairgrounds in Taytay, Rizal.
The 41-year-old Aguilar bested younger riders in the centerpiece pro open category in the first two legs but is expected to encounter rough sailing with the return of Mindanao-pride Bornok Mangosong.
Due to his tight schedule, Mangosong didn’t see action in the first two legs but is heavily-picked to prevail in the race organized by Generation Congregation and sponsored by Wheeltek, Dunlop tires, Pilipinas Shell, Coffee Grounds, Xtreme Adrenaline Sports Entertainment and PTT Philippines Corporation.

Another race to watch is the rivalry between Ralph Ramento and Enzo Rellosa in the pro elites category.
