PERPETUAL Help coach Nosa Omorogbe expects a more balanced charge as the Altas try to stay unbeaten in the Filoil Flying V Premier Cup today.

“Right now, we need other players… to provide steady and consistent contribution,” said Omorogbe.

The Altas go for a third straight triumph versus Emilio Aguinaldo College in the first of a heavy five-game bill at 9:30 a.m. at Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan.

Arellano coach Jerry Codiñera hopes for the same as the Chiefs also target a 3-0 start against St. Benilde at 11:15 a.m.

Even with the graduation of ace guard Scottie Thompson, the Altas pulled off double-digit wins versus the Maroons (73-61) and the Bulldogs (78-66).

Omorogbe credited the strong outing of forward Gab Daganon—who averaged 19 points in two games—but wants to draw more from players like Daryl Singontiko, AJ Coronel, John Ylagan and Ric Gallardo.

“[Singontiko] showed what he could do in our last win, but consistency is important,” said Omorogbe.
