Baguioro hat trick fires Voltes past Forza
DIMINUTIVE winger J Baguioro bagged his second hat trick of the season as JP Voltes bounced back from a defeat with an emphatic 7-1 win over Forza Sunday, even as Stallion nailed its first win in the 2016 United Football League at Rizal Memorial Stadium.
On loan from Ceres-La Salle, Baguioro took his tally to six goals this season as he fired all his three goals in the first half.
His effort matched Japanese striker Takumi Uesato’s output in another dominant performance by Voltes, which climbed to second behind Global with nine points.

Balot Doctora provided the flash of inspiration as Stallion stunned Kaya, 1-0, to snap a two-game slide, while Green Archers climbed to third spot with seven points after a walkover victory over Laos.
Doctora beat Kaya goalkeeper Matthew Acton in the 25th minute before Stallion defended heroically to preserve victory.

Attacking midfielder OJ Porteria was surprisingly left out of the Kaya squad, while Alfred Osei, who was recovering from surgery, also did not play.
Baguioro scored on a brilliant individual effort in the 13th minute. He got his second goal in the 38th minute, turning swiftly inside the area before firing into the bottom corner. He collected his third goal in the 43rd minute with a composed finish.
Uesato grabbed two goals in a space of two minutes, before getting his hat trick in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time.
