Batang PBA: Phoenix, SMB down foes

PHOENIX and San Miguel bounced back from opening losses in the 2016 Cloudfone-Batang PBA 16&Under tournament yesterday at Philippine Science High School gym in Quezon City.

Godwin Mostoles had 18 points as the Batang Fuel Masters turned back Mahindra, 70-61, while Clark Santa Cruz poured 16 points to pace the Batang Beermen past Blackwater, 58-30.

Meanwhile, Tropang TNT shoots for its third straight win against Blackwater (0-1) today, while Barangay Ginebra and Alaska, both with 1-0 cards, face NLEX (0-1) and Star (1-1), respectively.

SMB, 1-1, takes on Meralco in the fourth game.
