Conor McGregor continued to tease a possible match against retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.
On Tuesday, the UFC featherweight champion posted a picture of three Reebok shoes on his Twitter and wrote, “Boxing boots.”
McGregor is seen in the photo holding the silver-and-black one.
In a photo with by South African boxer Chris van Heerden, which McGregor retweeted, the UFC champion seems to be in a sparring session with the the former IBO welterweight champion.
“What a Humble life Experience having the pleasure going Toe 2 Toe with The Biggest name in UFC @thenotoriousmma,” van Heerden said.
Both camps have declared their interest in the event with Mayweather saying that his camp has already explored potential dates and venues if the bout pushes through.
However, pulling it off will be a costly one as Mayweather said that he will need at least a $100 million fight purse for the boxer-versus-mixed martial artist spectacle to become a reality.
