Rain or Shine waited another four years and endured one failed bid after another before winning its franchise’s second PBA championship.
The Elasto Painters needed a Game 6 to close out the Alaska Aces, 109-92, of their 2016 Commissioner’s Cup Finals duel on Wednesday night at Araneta Coliseum.
Jericho Cruz provided the spark anew as he and Paul Lee, who was named MVP of the Finals, led another hot-shooting night for the Painters, who replicated their Game 3 feat in tying the record for the most 3-pointers made in a championship game with 15.
