WAYNE Goldsmith, the renowned Australian high-performance specialist, had worked directly with American swimmer Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time with 22 gold medals in three Olympics.

This striking background, along with other glaring credentials, moved Philippine Swimming Inc. to bring in Goldsmith to the country for a series of motivational talks and applications for national coaches to help swimmers reach their maximum potential.

“My area of expertise is to help coaches, athletes and teams realize their potential through their application, attitude and mental skills,” said Goldsmith during the seminar that started  Monday at  Philsports Arena and ends today.

Goldsmith, with 25 years experience  in  sports performance and coaching business, will also tackle talent development, recruitment and the  subject of sports parenting during the seminar supported by the Philippine Sports Commission and organized by the PSI.

“I’ve worked directly with world champions, world record holders, Olympic gold medalists, professional football teams and tennis players up to the grand slam level, professional golfers, USA college teams and many, many others,” said Goldsmith.

After sharing his knowledge in Manila, Goldsmith will fly to either Iloilo or Cebu on May 21 to 23 to provide the same insights. He will proceed  to General Santos City or Dumaguete on May 24 to 26 for his last stop.
