Despite coming up short in his last UFC outing against Nate Diaz, Connor McGregor has continued to hog headlines in recent weeks.

 
From his highly publicized power dispute with the UFC, up to his supposed bout against Floyd Mayweather—the Irish sensation can now add ‘magazine cover’ to his long list of accolades.

 
ESPN announced on Monday (Tuesday in Manila) that the UFC Featherweight title holder would appear in their magazine’s annual ‘Body Issue’, which features a collection of photographs of famous athletes in either nude or semi-nude conditions.


McGregor becomes the sixth MMA fighter to appear in the special edition magazine, which includes former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, current champion Miesha Tate, interim UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, Invicta featherweight champion Cristiane Justino and her one-time husband, Cyborg Santos.

 
The full roster of athletes in this year’s Body Issue will be released June 20, while the magazine hits newsstands on July 8. Khristian Ibarrola
