FOR F2 Logistics, Ara Galang is the missing piece of the puzzle.
The former stalwart of reigning UAAP champion team La Salle will move up to the Philippine Superliga this season either through the rookie draft or by direct hire.
Either way, the F2 coaching staff is bent on getting her services along with fellow Lady Archers Mika Reyes, Cyd Demecillo and Kim Fajardo.
Her inclusion will paint the Cargo Movers green as the club already employs ex-La Salle stalwarts Cha Cruz and Aby Maraño.
PSL president Ramon “Tats” Suzara said Galang may yet join the draft tomorrow at SM Aura.
In that case, F2 might not get the chance to snag her because it is fifth in the draft order, although teams may pass on her because Galang is reportedly nursing a bruised bone on her knees.
Still, Galang is eligible to make it as a direct hire by F2 because she is technically still a student with 19 units left in her studies.
Former Arellano University star CJ Rosario is expected to become the overall top pick. The towering middle blocker shone in Tuesday night’s Rookie Camp at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Galang also showed up during the one-day camp led by Cignal coach Sammy Acaylar, but left early to attend her classes.
Nineteen other rookie hopefuls strutted their stuff during the camp.
