Petron gets boost with arrival of no. 2 pick Rosario, Pons, Palma
CJ Rosario may be the lone selection Petron made in the 2016 Philippine Superliga Draft, but she will not be the only new face joining the Tri-Active Spikers this incoming All-Filipino Conference.
Coach George Pascua bared that FEU stalwarts Bernadeth Pons and Remy Joy Palma, as well as middle blocker Kyle Negrito are well on their way to Petron.

Pascua said that the impending acquisition of Negrito is the reason why the team opted to not select former player Angelica Legacion in the draft.
Still, he believes that the addition of Rosario won’t be a problem for the team when it comes to chemistry.

Rosario, meanwhile, is just elated to reunite with her former teammates.
“Sobrang happy ko, as in hindi nga ako nakatulog. Pinagpe-pray ko na sana mag-stay ako sa Petron and natupad naman,” she said.
Though she fell second in the draft, Rosario is more than glad to remain with the Tri-Active Spikers.
“Hindi ko naman ine-expect na maging top pick. Super saya ko pa rin na nakabalik ako sa kanila,” she said.
“Siguro hindi na naman ako mahihirapan kasi parang dati lang din ito eh. Kahit anong ipagawa nila sa akin, OK lang.”
