The 6-foot-6 phenom who is headed for University of California, Los Angeles, meanwhile, decided to celebrate his achievement in an unconventional fashion—by “dabbing” all over the place a la North Carolina Panther quarterback, Cam Newton.

The video was taken by his older brother, former UP Fighting Maroon forward Andre Paras.

The younger Paras is considered by many as the future of Philippine basketball due to his athletic frame and immense potential.

He first gained notoriety by participating in the 2013 and 2015 FIBA 3×3 Under-18 World Championships, while also winning the event’s slam dunk championship both times.

Paras has already committed to the UCLA, which unveiled its new recruit’s locker room nameplates last week. Khristian Ibarrola
