MANILA, Philippines—Denied the first time up, La Salle Green Hills 5 served notice of its championship potential by grabbing a six-point lead over Colegio San Agustin in the Midgets 1 division at the start of the ICTSI Inter-school golf tournament second leg last weekend at the Aguinaldo Golf Club course.

Ryan Monsalve delivered 41 points for LSGH 5 while Spade Barbers and Joni Pancho produced 35 and 33, respectively, as they chalked up a 109 total at the compact but challenging layout inside the armed forces headquarters compound.

LSGH 5 was just good for third place in the first leg but the Greenies primed themselves up for a shot at the crown with a solid effort at Aguinaldo, where the CSA team opened up with 103 to trail by six.
