PBA D-League: Daquioag shines as Phoenix routs Tanduay

Ed Daquioag exploded in the first half as Phoenix disposed of Tanduay, 98-79, for its first win in the 2016 PBA D-League Foundation Cup Tuesday at JCSGO Gym in Cubao.

The former UST stalwart led the 24-0 tear which gave the Accelerators a commanding 47-22 advantage near the end of the second period. They went on cruise control in the second half and led by as big as 27, 73-46, against the Rhum Masters.

Daquioag finished with 22 points,  five rebounds and three assists to lead Phoenix, Mike Tolomia added 15 markers, five boards, and four dimes, while Roger Pogoy chipped in 12.

Jovet Mendoza paced the Rhum Masters with 11 points.
