DEFENDING champion Cafe France faces its first real test when it battles an inspired Racal squad coming off an impressive victory, even as Phoenix Petroleum shoots for a share of the early lead today in the 2016 PBA D-League Foundation Cup at JCSGO Gym.

The Bakers and Tile Masters take the floor at 4 p.m. with both squads gunning for their second straight victories after pulling off lopsided wins to start their campaigns.

The Accelerators are also seeking a second straight win in the 2 p.m. clash with Topstar Z.C. Mindanao.

The Accelerators brandished the firepower that keyed their romp last conference with Mike Tolomia and RR Pogoy also contributing.

Bakers coach Egay Macaraya is bracing for a tough battle with the Tile Masters, whom he said always make life difficult for the Bakers.

“We always struggle against them because they have versatile big men,” said Macaraya, who hopes to get an improved performance from former Letran center Jam Cortes to compliment Congolese big man Rod Ebondo. Cedelf P. Tupas
