NATIONAL team standouts OJ Porteria and Kenshiro Daniels knocked in four goals each as Kaya whipped ten-man Nomads, 16-1, Thursday to rise to No. 2 in the United Football League at Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Louis Clark, Joven Bedic, David Tanton, Miguel Tanton and Jaylor Soriano also found the back of the net as Kaya picked up its third win in four matches.
The win pushed Kaya’s haul to nine points as Chris Greatwich’s side prepares for the duel with pacesetter Global FC on Sunday.
Daniels started the rout with a goal in the opening minute as Kaya scored eight goals in each half.
Drawing four goals from Joshua Beloya, Stallion cruised to an 8-0 demolition of Laos.
The rejuvenated Beloya scored all of his goals in an 18-minute spell in the second half as Laos wilted in the face of Stallion’s relentless attacks.
Nathan Alquiros opened the scoring just 18 seconds into the match before skipper Balot Doctora struck from the penalty spot in the 24th minute. Fitch Arboleda scored twice in the last 10 minutes to seal the comprehensive victory for Stallion.
