Guiao: ‘Lowhorn is like Henderson-Niles with better offense’
For Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao, his incoming import Dior Lowhorn reminds him a lot of his former reinforcement Pierre Henderson-Niles.
The Elasto Painters won the 2016 PBA Commissioner’s Cup crown despite Henderson-Niles becoming the lowest-scoring import in PBA history.

“Lowhorn is like Henderson-Niles with better offense,” Guiao said.
In Lowhorn’s previous stints with Ginebra in 2013 and GlobalPort in 2014, the 6-foot-7 forward has proven himself as a vital contributor, someone who is capable of putting up huge double-doubles on a nightly basis.

Guiao also sees Lowhorn as a right fit with Rain or Shine’s run-and-gun system.
“With our success in last conference, an inside presence like Lowhorn is the best fit for us. He is also more mobile and will be able to complement our running game,” he said.
Lowhorn is hoping to have a deeper run this time out after his previous Governors’ Cup stints ended in quarterfinal exits.
